We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Accounts Assistant.

Job Purpose

The Accounts Assistant role will consist of providing support to the Accounts department including account reconciliation, warranty purchase and sales ledger and report production.  We’re looking for applicants who seek satisfaction in providing a first-class service and are happy to engage with internal departments and key stakeholders. Applicants must be good communicators and listeners who take pride in their work.

Job summary:

  • Reconciliation of CTHF Held Accounts and investigating transactions.
  • Send statements and copy invoices as requested.
  • Processing month end invoicing and self billing invoices.
  • OEM trust account reconciliations.
  • Resolving dealer accountant queries via email.
  • Processing repair claims on an adhoc basis for BACS payment
  • Running weekly reports and issuing to external clients

What skills will you need?

  • The ability to be organised and manage workload and deadline effectively
  • Enjoy variety and learning new skills.
  • Have keen attention to detail.
  • Good general computer skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
  • Full training in systems and processes will be provided, but previous use of business systems and or the automotive/warranty/service plan market would be an advantage.

Job type:

  • Full time – 37.5 hours per week (9.00am – 5.00pm).
  • Permanent opportunity.
  • Salary £23,500 with an increase following probation.
  • OTE £1,200 per annum in target related commission.
