Sales Development Manager – Maintenance Plans (South territory)

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Sales Development Manager is to drive revenue growth and expand EMaC’s maintenance plan portfolio within a significant business territory, supporting the current field team and achieving new business wins. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive value-add product market, with a proven track record for success in this field.
Job Summary:
Objective: Drive business revenue, growth, and client satisfaction by leveraging EMaC’s expanding product portfolio, with a specific focus on the EMaC maintenance plan product range.
Strategic Pipeline: Create, develop, and implement a strategic pipeline to acquire new maintenance plan business across the network, targeting clients who currently do not utilise EMaC’s product range.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships and influence key decision makers to engage with EMaC’s maintenance plan portfolio and broader product offerings. collaborate with existing clients to identify performance gaps. Design and implement SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) development action plans. Conduct regular performance reviews with all levels of management.
Accountability: Take full accountability for delivering and implementing growth opportunities, specifically centred around EMaC maintenance plan products.
Competitor Awareness: Stay informed about competitors in the industry who offer similar products, and clearly articulate the advantages of EMaC’s offerings over others.
Risk Mitigation: Identify any risks to EMaC client partnerships and act efficiently to mitigate potential business losses for any products.
What you’ll need:
As an EMaC Sales Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction and driving business growth. Your focus will be on client training, performance improvement, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will be a current account manager employed in the automotive industry with the following expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of the motor trade and value-added products.
- Previous car dealership experience preferred.
- Self-motivated and highly organised.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Proficient in IT tools.
- Ability to inspire, train, and develop individuals to perform at their best.
- Current employment as an Account Manager in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of excellence in client training and development.
